· The Applicants are METAL REYCLERS ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH AFRICA ("MRA''), a voluntary association whose members comprise 150 formal metal recycling companies, trading in the processing and recycling of scrap metal for exportation and domestic sale.
In 1999 the association changed its name to Metal Recyclers Association of South Africa (MRA) to accurately depict its involvement in the metal recycling industry. The constitution was amended and registered with the Department of Labour. The association adopted a code of conduct that commits its members to the highest degree of business ethics.
The Recyclers is a privately owned company that was established in 2017. We offer a service to clients that do not have easy access or the know-how of where or what to recycle. The Recyclers focusses on offering an affordable service of destruction of confidential documentation and the recycling of paper, plastic, glass, cans, steel, and e-waste.
